Industry training enables you to develop the skills of your employees while they continue to work.  The system uses nationally recognised standards developed by the industry.There is a wide range of qualifications available in different career pathways, relevant to the skill needs of the electricity supply industry.

ESITO is a Modern Apprenticeship (link to TEC MAP site) coordinator.  If you wish to employ a young person and support them through their training under the Modern Apprenticeship programme, ESITO will assist you. ESITO’s Upskill Scholarships aim to help retain employees in the industry and to address skills shortages identified by the industry.

Depending on the type of training being undertaken trainees will be assigned a trainee coordinator (link to a pdf of coordinators).The trainee coordinator will work with you and the trainee to monitor progress.The coordinator will help to resolve any problems preventing the timely completion of training.
