The time taken to complete a qualification varies depending on the type of qualification, the trainee’s abilities and the support provided by an employer.

The more complex qualifications take up to three years to complete.  However, assessment  is based on competency rather than the length of time taken to complete a qualification.  How long it actually takes to finish the qualification depends on the efforts of both the trainee and the employer.

Who can complete a qualification?

The qualifications are open to people of any age.  Each qualification has prerequisites which you have to meet before you can start.
